Maitland, FL -- The long-awaited American and seafood house Luke's Kitchen and Bar will open on January 9. The restaurant will be coddled by the same folks that run its sister restaurants, Winter Park's Luma on Park and Prato.
The restaurant's scratch kitchen will feature this, plus craft cocktails and creative desserts: "soups and salads, raw bar offerings, ceviches, smokebox and grill items, sandwiches, entrees, [and] sides."

- Spit-fired chicken with baked potato puree and mushroom jus
- Peppered prime rib with heirloom carrots and béarnaise
- Au poivre burger with brie, watercress, French pickles and peppercorn gravy
- Seafood tower with Atlantic and Pacific oysters, Florida shrimp, Alaskan king crab, bay scallops, lobster and clams
