Cruise lines keep outdoing one another with onboard features, and the Norwegian Encore is no exception. The ship will have its own “immersive” escape room, for starters. Also heading toward the U.S.: “the largest” outdoor laser tag arena, a 10,000-foot monster with augmented reality bits woven in, and the world’s longest go-kart racetrack, with four high-speed curves that extend over the side of the ship. Viewers in a central area can “turbo boost” passers-by with a laser beam. The 10,000-square-foot Galaxy Pavilion will be a mecca for virtual reality fans. The ship launches from Miami this fall.
